For some reason, I can’t seem to sleep. This unsettling anger just seemed to burst pipes and I can’t stop the leakage. Birth control is not a passage for a man to think he can get away with screwing every damn girl, because she’s “protected” from pregnancy. Birth control is not some O.K. or thumbs up sign to have sex frequently. It’s not a damn trend!
Did it ever occur to people that MAYBE a girl goes on birth control for other reasons than having a ton of sex and not getting pregnant? I didn’t go on birth control, because I was planning to f*ck the entire male population. It was an added bonus – sure, to be ‘protected’. But that wasn’t the reason why I went on it.
Maybe, I’m just being hormonal with a side of man-hating, but when a man needs to feel a “man” by amassing a collection of conquests, I get a tad bit pissed. I get livid. The idea that if a woman is on birth control she’d spread her legs for any man is sickening.
I’m on birth control. & I’m not ashamed of admitting why I started on birth control. It had NOTHING to do with sex. It’s called being dealt an unlucky hand. I had a cyst on my ovary, which made my life miserable. For almost four years, I had chronic lower back pain that got worse when it got to that time of month. It never went away. And during that time of month, I didn’t have the chance to go on a man-hating woman from hell phase, because instead, for five fucking days I’m in serious pain. The kind of guttwrenching pain that leaves you hiding in bed, because it feels like your entire body is rotting and aching. The kind of pain that causes you to cry and dig your fingernails into your skin to the point of drawing blood to stem the pain. Thankfully, I’m on that birth control that I go 3-months straight before getting “it”. Instead of 12 weeks per year, I only get four weeks per year to be a complete emotional basketcase.
Some people think I’m lucky, but if you went through all the damn shit I went through I guarantee LUCK has nothing to do with it. So for those who think birth control is a gift from heaven above because it gives you the chance to screw a different girl every night, PISS OFF!!
